Privacy Policy
Effective Date:
This Privacy Policy applies to E-Bike Square (the "Site"), a website operated by Irvinesoft Inc ("Irvinesoft," "we", "us," or "our").
E-Bike Square helps users discover and compare electric bicycles using search filters and AI-assisted search features. The Site also provides links to third-party retailers where users can purchase products.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Site, how we use it, how it may be shared with third parties, and the rights and choices available to you.
Information Collection and Use
The Site automatically collects certain information when you visit and use it. This information may include:
- Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address.
- Your browser type, operating system, and general device information.
- The pages you visit, the time and date of your visits, and the time spent on those pages.
- The products you view or select.
- The search filters you use to find electric bicycles.
- Session identifiers and related information used to manage website sessions and usage limits.
We use this information to operate and improve the Site, understand how visitors interact with its features, maintain security, prevent misuse, and provide relevant search results.
You do not need to provide your name, email address, or other personal contact information to browse products or use the search features.
However, certain automatically collected information, such as IP addresses and device identifiers, may be considered personal information under applicable privacy laws.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to provide essential functionality, manage visitor sessions, and understand how the Site is used.
Session Identification and Rate Limiting
We use a persistent cookie to identify and manage your session across visits to the Site.
This cookie allows us to recognize returning visitors and associate their requests with an existing session. It is primarily used to enforce usage limits on AI-assisted searches, prevent excessive requests, and protect the availability of the Site.
The cookie is set to expire one year after it is issued. Its expiration period is renewed when you return to or access the Site, allowing your session identifier to remain active across visits.
This cookie is used for website functionality and rate limiting, not for displaying advertisements.
Analytics Technologies
We use Google Analytics for Firebase, which may use cookies, identifiers, or similar technologies to collect information about visitor activity.
These technologies help us understand how visitors navigate the Site, which products they view, and which search filters they use.
You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies. However, disabling cookies used for session identification may affect certain features, particularly AI-assisted searches and their usage limits.
We do not set affiliate-tracking cookies on behalf of Amazon or AliExpress.
Artificial Intelligence
The Site provides an optional AI-assisted search feature that allows you to describe the type of electric bicycle you are looking for using natural language.
When you submit a search prompt, we forward your prompt to OpenAI, along with instructions we provide. OpenAI processes the prompt and generates structured search filters based on your request.
The generated filters are then used to search E-Bike Square's product database and display matching electric bicycles.
Information You Submit
Please be mindful of the information you include in your AI search prompts. We recommend that you avoid submitting sensitive personal information, such as your full name, home address, financial information, passwords, or other confidential details.
Information submitted through the AI-assisted search feature is transmitted to OpenAI for processing and may also be processed by the technical systems used to operate and maintain the Site.
The generated search filters may be collected through Firebase Analytics to help us understand how visitors use the search functionality and improve the Site.
For more information about how OpenAI processes and retains information submitted through its services, please review the OpenAI Privacy Policy and OpenAI API Data Controls .
Analytics and Site Usage
We use Google Analytics for Firebase, a service provided by Google, to better understand how visitors use E-Bike Square.
Analytics collection is enabled automatically when you use the Site. We do not provide a Site setting to disable it.
Firebase Analytics may collect information such as:
- Pages visited and navigation activity.
- Products viewed or selected.
- Search filters and product categories used.
- General device and browser information.
- Session activity, engagement, and usage statistics.
We use this information to understand which features are useful, identify popular products, improve the search experience, and make the Site easier to navigate.
We do not use Google Ads to display advertisements through the Site.
Google may process analytics information in accordance with its own privacy practices and service terms. Analytics data is retained according to the settings configured for the applicable Google Analytics property and Google's data retention policies.
For more information, please review:
Affiliate Links and Third-Party Retailers
E-Bike Square displays electric bicycles available from third-party retailers, including Amazon and AliExpress.
Some products include affiliate or referral links. When you click one of these links and make a qualifying purchase, we may receive a commission from the retailer at no additional cost to you.
These commissions help support the operation and continued development of the Site.
When you click a retailer link, the retailer's website opens in a new browser tab.
Third-Party Cookies and Tracking
We do not directly set affiliate-tracking cookies or track purchases made on third-party retailer websites.
However, the affiliate link may contain a referral identifier that allows the retailer to recognize that you arrived from E-Bike Square.
Once you visit a third-party retailer, that retailer may use its own cookies and tracking technologies to measure referrals, process purchases, or provide other services.
Any information collected by the retailer, including your browsing activity, purchase information, payment details, or shipping address, is handled according to that retailer's privacy policy.
We do not directly process purchases or collect payment card information for transactions made on these external websites.
We encourage you to review the privacy practices of third-party retailers before making a purchase.
